EnSilica provides wireless and wired access silicon solutions and services covering system level modeling and architecture design through to the detailed software and hardware implementations and verification. Our expertise covers all aspects of modern modem design from modulation, forward error correction to channel synchronization. We have special expertise in communications IP and cutting edge OFDM-based technologies including WLAN, 3GPP2, DVB, DAB and DRM. Rapid development of solutions can be delivered using a SystemC based design flow utilising a common library of components. For solutions requiring a higher degree of optimization traditional DSP or RTL implementations are used.
EnSilica can provide solutions and implementation services covering video-based consumer and broadcast products. Our project portfolio includes video enhancement processing IP, de-interlacers, scaling and format conversion, video coding (H.264 and MPEG2), multilayer, multi-window video display controllers. End products for these solutions include TV SoC, studio equipment, broadcast and security cameras as well as automotive entertainment and display systems.
EnSilica have supported designs based around all the most popular embedded processors (8051, ARM, ARC, NiosII and Microblaze) and have expert knowledge of AMBA bus architectures and tool chain porting ( Eclipse, GNU, GDB).
