Ian Lankshear
Ian co-founded EnSilica in 2001. Under his stewardship, the Company has enjoyed sustained growth based on market lead opportunities, innovation and export success. Ian has strong technical and commercial background covering semiconductors and adjacent markets. Ian’s early career was in Radar systems development for Siemens Plessey Systems. He moved into semiconductor development in 1996 working for Hitachi and then for Nokia. Ian holds a First Class Honours degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Mark Hodgkins
Mark is a Chartered Accountant. After time with KPMG in their Latin American practice working on investment funds, insurance and offshore financing, Mark became a Partner with Grant Thornton and then Ernst & Young (1996) specialising in Strategy for mid-sized private companies. He advised on corporate transactions, worth in excess of £2bn. Since 2005 Mark has focussed on assisting SME’s with their corporate strategies. Mark focusses on the development of businesses by engagement of all stakeholders, promoting a transformation.
Kristoff Rademan
Graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002 Kristoff began his finance career at KPMG in South Africa before relocating to the UK.
He has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance across the pharmaceutical and technology sectors, including serving as Vice President and Group Financial Controller at Oxford Biomedica Plc, a company listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
Prior to that, he held senior finance management positions at Archimedes Pharma, a European speciality pharmaceutical company, where he also served as the UK & Ireland Finance Director.
Janet Collyer
Janet is an experienced senior international group director with a proven strategic and ecosystems management track record in the key commercial and technology aspects of the semiconductor systems industry. As an engineer by trade, with an MA in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, Janet spent 30 years working at NASDAQ-listed, Cadence Design Systems – eventually securing senior account positions and C-Suite level exposure. Janet is currently a non-executive director at the Aerospace Technology Institute, the Chair at Machine Discovery Ltd and Chair at Quantum Dice Ltd.
Janet is also a member of the recently formed UK Semiconductor Advisory Panel, a collaboration between industry and Government to deliver the National Semiconductor Strategy. As well as her board roles, Janet advises organisations working to increase female representation in STEM and mentors women on the path to C-Suite roles.
Wasim ‘Woz’ Ahmed
Woz is a seasoned senior executive with an established track record in the semiconductor industry, spanning strategy, M&A, marketing and business development. With a BEng (Hons) in Electronics from Kingston University and a Henley MBA, Woz spent 15 years at Imagination Technologies, latterly as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff. He previously held management roles at Arc and Hitachi. Woz is currently working as a C-level consultant.
Noel Hurley
Noel is a senior executive in the semiconductor business. He has held various commercial and managerial roles at ARM Ltd including Vice President responsible for Product Marketing, General Manager of the CPU group as well as forming and leading ARM’s Business segments and Strategy and Incubation groups. He was a co-founder of XMOS Semiconductors and the COO of healthcare company Toumaz. Noel holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
David Tilston
David is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
He has over 30 years’ experience in finance functions within public companies, including at Group CFO level. He is currently a Senior Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair and is a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees at SDI Group plc, and is also a Senior Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair and a member of the Remuneration Committee at Ocean Harvest Technology Group plc, both companies being listed on AIM.

Alan Wong
Alan joined EnSilica in 2016. He has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor development, initially in technical positions at Tokyo Electron and Sony Semiconductor, and then as IC Design Director at Frontier Microsystems & Toumaz Ltd, where he led the design and delivery of SoC products for medical and consumer markets.
Alan is a Chartered Engineer, MIET, Senior member IEEE, and served as TPC member for ISSCC and on IEEE802.15 standards committee.
Alan holds a MEng degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford.
Davide Sarta
Davide has over 25 years of experience in the development of complex SoC, with many products successfully achieving mass production in process nodes down to 7nm, and for different application ranging from 5G, AI, Set Top Boxes, Cable gateway, HPC. At EnSilica, Davide is leading a multi-disciplined digital engineering team based either in our UK, India or Brazil offices. Davide holds a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Catania, Italy, with a master in Control Systems a second master in Low Power Silicon Design obtained at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Prior to EnSilica he held senior engineering and managerial roles at STMicroelectronics, Imagination Technologies and Blu Wireless.
Patrick McNamee
Patrick has been at EnSilica for over four years and has set up all of the Company’s operations functions to manage a growing supply business. Prior to this Patrick has over 30 years of senior management experience, gained from a range of start-up and multinational technology companies including CSR, Dialog Semiconductor and National Semiconductor. Patrick has a broad range of technical skills relating to the manufacture and reliability of semiconductors. During his career, he has successfully worked on significant product and technical projects with customers that include household names in consumer and automotive electronics in locations throughout Europe, Asia and the US.
Peter Jeutter
Peter has 25 years of experience in the industry with a focus on sales strategy, sales performance and sales transformation in order to grow profitable business in all sales channels. He successfully has led small and large sales team with a track record of growth. This has involved ‘scale-up’ and ‘turn-around to growth and profitability’ situations as well as M&A leverage of sales teams. In his earlier career he was in charge of sales operations, internal consulting and commercial teams. He worked with Renesas, Atmel and Infineon in European and global leadership roles. Peter has a commercial background with a management education from MZSG, St. Gallen, Switzerland and INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
Paul Morris
Paul has over 30 years’ experience in senior technical and commercial roles at Qualcomm, CSR, Cadence and Philips as well as a variety of Cambridge-based start-ups.
He began his career working on various digital wireless technologies and also specialised in semiconductor systems since 2001.
Paul holds a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer at the IET, Project Management Professional in good standing and is the author of several patents covering wireless technologies.
Bernard Wu
Bernard has over 20 years’ experience in display technology, specialized in TFT display driver IC, touch controllers, Touch and Display Integration and high-speed interface controllers for a broad range of applications such as mobile phones, wearables and VR devices. Previously he held business operations director and senior management position in Solomon Systech in Hong Kong. He is experienced in product strategies, product planning and cross-functional team leadership in the Fabless Company environment. Bernard graduated from the University of Oxford with an MEng(hons) degree in Engineering Science.
Ramesha Doddamane
Ramesh has over 30 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry focussing on verification, validation, and programme and people management.
Ramesh worked with Cypress semiconductors, where he was one of the early employee’s in India tasked with building the verification team. He has also worked with design service company KPIT, managing major customer accounts such as ST, LSI , Cypress and NXP. Ramesh has also spent four years in California working with semiconductor start-ups.
Ramesh is responsible for the overall management of EnSilica’s Bangalore office and EnSilica’s design services business unit.
Julio Leão da Silva Jr.
Julio Leao has over 30 years of experience (Belgium, USA, Brazil) in various roles including project management, digital design methodologies from RTL to GDSII, EDA software development, digital IC design among others. He has 7 patents and over 2500 paper citations under his belt. He has worked with tech giants like Get2chip and Forte (both acquired by Cadence) in the USA, and NSCAD and Ceitec in Brazil. Julio has completed his Post-doctorate at U.C. Berkeley (USA/2001), PhD. from IMEC/K.U.L. (Belgium/1999) and MsC. in Computer Science and BS in Electrical Engineering at UFRGS (Brazil/1989 and 1986). Julio also has an PMP certification (2011), ISO 9001 internal auditor (2016)
David Tester
During the last 20 years David has led development of ten complex SoC products and participated in the development of over twenty semiconductor products for the GPS / GNSS, cordless phone, cell phone, DVB and DVD digital TV, TETRA, Wi-Fi, PC and NFC markets. His high volume, standard product background crosses every level from system architecture to digital and analog silicon development.
He has deep experience leading product developments for start-up’s including Air, Ultrahaptics, Symbionics, UltraSOC and Thalia over the last 10 years.
Previously he was with Rockwell Semiconductor, Dialog and LSI Logic. David has 18 granted patents.He is an IET Fellow and Chartered Engineer.
Nick Weiner
Nick joined the company in 2015. He brings many years of experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, design management, business development and company management. Nick is well known within the industry having been a founder of Phyworks (sold to Maxim of California, in 2010) and Xintronix (sold to FTDI in 2013) and heading up the technical operation at Microcosm Communications (sold to Conexant of California in 2000). Prior to this he held management and design positions with Motorola Semiconductor and Wolfson Microelectronics. Nick has specialist knowledge in products developed for fibre optics communications including industry-leading fibre-to-the-home transceivers, 10 Gbps transceiver and signal integrity ICs. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College, University of London and a Master’s degree from University of California, Berkeley
Andy Maund
Andy has spent over 25 years working at the leading edge of ASIC and SoC development. He has extensive management and hands-on experience at all stages of the RTL-to-Silicon flow, gained across more than thirty foundry tapeouts, and at process nodes from 0.65um down to 28nm. Andy also has considerable project management and supplier management experience and has worked with a wide range of IP, EDA, and foundry service providers. His current engineering interests include low-power design techniques and dynamic SoC verification. Prior to joining EnSilica Andy held an engineering VP position at ZiiLabs (formerly 3Dlabs), and various other senior management and design roles involved with the development of 3Dlabs’ advanced graphics processing hardware. Andy has a First Class Honours degree in Computer Engineering from The City University, London
