We are proud to announce that EnSilica is supporting a hands-on ASIC design workshop at the University of Sheffield, aimed at strengthening the UK talent pipeline for future IC designers.
This workshop presents a unique opportunity, following similar initiatives at leading institutions like Stanford University. It marks one of the first of what we hope will be many such workshops in the UK.
Led by Matt Venn, students will learn from digital logic fundamentals to preparing a real design for silicon using Tiny Tapeout, with designs included in a collective tapeout and tested on actual chips.
The workshop is open to students from any university, and no prior experience is needed.
A big thank you to the other co-sponsors: GFMicro, Novomorphic, CHIMES, and the UKESF
